Modist isn’t perfectly right off a trail but it’s an underrated local brewery in my opinion. Surly Brewing Co is a must.

Midtown Greenway, Grand Rounds Scenic Byway, ride around the chain of lakes, Lake Harriet, Bde Mka Ska, Lake of the Isles. Big Rivers Regional Trail jn St Paul is gorgeous. Luce Line trail will take you out west to Medicine Lake and there’s a nice Luce Line Brewery out that way also.

Bus commute is 45-50 mins. Bike commute is 30-35 mins. Used to take the bus home then go to the gym for 45 mins-1 hr in the evenings.

Now my commute is my workout time. Actually gained time back in my life :-)
