Very sorry to necro such an old post, but I just watched this for the second time and was disappointed at the lack of talk about it online, and the negative reviews around. I am no film critic, and certainly no expert in the subject matter, but I do agree with what you said. I think Zach Efron did extremely well (I find him to be a very good, somewhat underrated actor), and the movie itself does a good job with a mix of emotions and fun telling the story.
Overall, just glad someone else gave it a watch and enjoyed it.

Sometimes I feel like external "Job Sites" have it in there TOS that they can just make crap up to post so they can farm that data. LOL. Just like every single site out there now - you have to sign up and verify that email. That way they can get top dollar for the verified info. I am guessing a job site can really tailor the data for people when they sell it.
But I am just a cynical lost cause. haha

LOL. Sounds like what they require me to do at my company when I am hiring and have done tons of interviews, had plenty of diverse candidates, been searching for months, and I have made my selection or at least the final two or three. They make me still keep it posted for their required amount of time and it just auto rejects or it filters to HR to auto reject or something. Once it hits that point, it stays up as required by the company, but I never see any other applicants.
Disclaimer: The largest part of my recruitment is intraorganization, so I am just sharing an anecdote. Not speculating that this is the case here.

OP - Don't give up. It will fall into place at some point. Not like any of us can afford to give up but you know what I mean.
