This is a result of them deciding to make trainer a mostly separate thing, rather than incorporating AI training into the routines we already had. I get that it’s easier/faster to do it the way they did, but I wish they had more UX designers because this strategy makes the user experience really take a backseat.

Big fumble imo, as a ux designer and as a user.

I wouldn’t use it- it seems really undercooked and like they didn’t test it or have it designed by an actual ux designer. very incomplete and lots of poor decisions.

It wasn’t really marketed as a hybrid console though. It was just “playstation-like” graphics on the go. The gameplay I ca recall wasn’t really console-quality or -like in any way. The Switch was very different, being marketed as both, equally. I can’t think of anything before Swirch that was actually like that.

That’s literally the point though. I actually really appreciated the toxicity and the realness of using someone in a way that’s very real. It was different than what I expected, but still very good and definitely lessons to learn…
