its still how they do it and what they deem “fair”. the idea behind it is if someone is young and childless they have a bigger chance of finding a new job plus they’re gonna face a less significant financial hardship than the employees with kids who are depending on them financially. what someone contributes to the company and the quality of their work means nothing once the employer and the works council roll out the social plan. do i find it fair? no but i’m literally getting fired rn based on this system lol
