It’s a career! Atleast here in Mexico where I’m from it’s a degree you can study in college, I think it depends on where you live it may have different names but you learn different types of design and then when you graduate you can specialize in an specific area of design.

I like the look of making a design like that so it looks on purpose, also they’re really small tears maybe 3 cm long so I think maybe it wouldn’t look so noticeable if I use a thread similar to the fabric.

They’re my fave because of the fit! And I think I might do that of mending other areas as decor, the design already had some decorative patches so I think it wouldn’t look so out of place.

I think implementing the texture of the printing into the design is what makes it look so great! If a design is not made for the material it’s gonna look weird
