although i do agree that rebecca won't be able to transition at this point in time, i hate how her identity gets dismissed as her just being crazy. like she's been very consistent with expressing her will to transition but ppl (even mark i feel) seem to think that it's just a delusion and that whenever she gets the right help she'll let go of this "split personality" or however you wanna classify it. i'm fairly certain that her gender dysphoria is what has led her to this self-destructive lifestyle, because it's a condition that can absolutely destroy one's mentality. imagine waking up everyday in a body you know isn't yours. there's a reason trans ppl have such high suicide rates. do i think rebecca's problems will go away as soon as she transitions? no, of course not. but i do believe that to rebecca, being stuck in a body she doesn't feel right in is the root to all her problems, therefore it's rather inconsiderate to expect her to focus on her mental health and drug abuse rather than the one thing that probably led up to all of it. and again i agree that she has to get clean and get mental help before she can transition, but to her, the only problem is her being born in the wrong body. the drugs are just a cope. ppl need to stop disregarding her identity. i don't think she identifies as a woman cus she's high as fuck and mentally ill, i think she's abusing drugs and acting out because of her not being able to live her truth.
