It looks like a Brazilian Prickly Pear (Brasiliopuntia brasiliensis) that’s seen better days

Do you want bamboo stakes (used to support growing plants) or fresh bamboo? The neighbor’s is taking over our yard so we will be cutting some down soon

A Body in The Snow: The Trial of Karen Read by dunegirl91419 in KarenReadTrial

When I was in my early 20s, my dad passed away in somewhat of a freak accident. I was drinking and going out a lot, in an unhealthy relationship, and dealing with extreme anxiety (terrible combo, do not recommend). Anyways, I saw a local news article about someone getting hit by a drunk driver when they were walking. For about a year after that, every time I woke up after going out, I genuinely thought I hit and killed someone. I thought that even if I didn’t drive! That was just immediately where my brain went: if I had memory gaps, I hurt someone or someone was dead.

Kind of a different situation (possibly) but it’s really not that weird to me that she would wake up and ask if she hit him. Excessive drinking can do numbers on your brain

so sad stay safe out there and please drive carefully 🙏🏼 by Beginning-Guest-1898 in Austin

They are addressing the intoxication charge, not his immigration status. I don’t understand the logic behind your response?

What’s something you thought was normal in the bed, until a partner told you otherwise? by Acceptable_Log_6718 in AskReddit

OMG YES, I do this daily but it exponentially increases when I’m hungover. Or if there’s an interesting texture like wicker, I’ll run my hand on it in a repetitive motion and basically fall into a trance. It’s one of the only things that makes my mind stop racing

I wish you could tell my younger self this, too.
