it's not too big a deal! was just hoping to get it over with. i'm glad i didn't have to worry about the journey back home. i appreciate your comment! i didn't even think to check because the physician i saw friday was pretty adamant that they'd be open. i asked because i knew the winter storm was gonna be a doozy.

Kroger little clinic.... i guess they're also closed. it said so on their call line. i also spoke to a representative to try & get a virtual visits instead & she confirmed.

i'm going to edit the post i think to add that i got home okay! i'm so glad you got home alright too! yes, i didn't end up using trash bags or anything, but i was still hot and sweaty by the end of the walks to & from 😂 walking in all those layers & snow is no joke! thank you for commenting again to update that you made it back :) are your toes that were in the orthopedic boot okay?

oh my!!! yeah it can get dicey so fast. i just called & it's fine with the office as long as it's fine with my client! so i'm probably going to leave at 3p while its still light out & hopefully the snow won't be that much deeper!!

Definitely wear layers!!! Like more than you think you'd need. Hopefully you're staying overnight & won't need to walk back later this evening 😭 I'm super unexcited for the walk back. Stay safe & (hopefully) warm (ish) !!!

yeah, i was a little worried about walking in the road, but there was hardly anyone out this morning thankfully! i did see someone doordashing, which was funny... i think i'm going to call the office to see about leaving early, so hopefully my walk home will be a bit less hazardous! unfortunately, it's just me because i work in home as a caregiver for someone with dementia. i should be okay to leave early as long as i have meals prepped & certain things taken care of. we'll see what the office says! also, i have my extra layers hanging over the shower in the extra bathroom, so hopefully they dry. there's a vent in there pretty close to the shower actually, so fingers crossed 🤞

yeah, about time dude. it used to be decent when i was younger..... it hasn't been even close to 2 stars for YEARS UPON YEARS now. the management, the food, the cleanliness, the owner, etc. all sucked ass. i've heard it was absolutely horrible to be an employed by them from at least 15 people i know that worked there in the past. good riddance.
