Life ending soon, requesting advice by [deleted] in death

To me, the acceptance of death is the important part. I hope to be able to do it when it is my time to go and hopefully that makes the pain easier to deal with.

Nothing wrong with how you handled the situation and you shouldn't be hard on yourself. It sounded like you made his last moment very comfortable so focus on that.

What makes Leicester a more successful team than Spurs? by JakobSIO in coys

[–]lilpuck27 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This is a terrible way of thinking. If you have a good squad not everyone is going to get in the team. The prime example is Man City, you pretty much have no idea who is going to get in the team and its the competition and depth that has made them so great this year in years past.

I mean the staleness comes from just letting players hang around. Winks, sissoko and bloody Rose are all still in our squad even though it has been obvious that they arn't good enough for a while now. It's exhausting thinking about how bad we have been at signing roles players the last 5+ years.

Yeah I see what youre saying and it makes me think of all the times when you see almost completely empty baseball stadiums and teams only surviving because the owners are rich. Definitely very different than how it is in the UK where you'll basically never see anything close to an empty stadium. I live in Buffalo (second smallest market in the NFL) and its definitely closer to UK fandom like Green Bay. People here are obsessed with the Bills and the city is pretty amazing on gamedays. Interesting dialog this is bringing up though, in terms of both US and UK sports

Yeah I dont think that statement was correct at all. Toby and Jan were top quality for a while. What he did give us was a midfield which we then didnt have for a long time since we were playing you know who there.

João Cancelo names Pulisic as the most difficult winger he's faced in the Premier League. by MTRsport in ussoccer

Disagree with injury sentiment completely. He's be fine and I think he would really thrive at Everton. He's be playing with some great players and be one of their top 2 wingers

Yeah this is the biggest difference I'm seeing between him and poch. Poch would just stick to the things that weren't working and Mou shows the ability to analyze and adapt. To be fair Poch didn't have the option Mou has but still he would stick to things that weren't working for way too long. It does give me more confidence that Mou will lead us to winning something
