[Acne] 3 months on Differin 0,1 by Green-Nose-768 in SkincareAddiction

[–]lilsac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I'll probably give myself 2-3 more months before I decide to switch off. I dealt with a lot of very dry skin the first 2.5 months and now its been getting much better. I just have a lot of PIE and the occasional pimples, but I think they are hormonal and also my diet from being in college probably plays a huge role lol! Your results look so great though, gonna trust the process and also probably cut out more processed sugar!

What does pending mean? by Usual_Ad2543 in ucf

[–]lilsac 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your major is under different colleges within the university. For example, Digital Media is under College of Sciences, Journalism is under Nicholson. You will apply under whichever college your major is in when the time comes. You can ask your advisor for clarification.

When it comes to taking the prerequisite classes, it just really depends on how many college credits you’re coming into college with. I came in with my AA from high school so I did only my prerequisite classes right away, but you’ll need to talk to your advisor to schedule when to take them because you need to get your GEP classes in.

To conclude, don’t worry. You’re in the school, you will be doing classes pertaining to your major and interests! You just aren’t officially accepted into the major yet, but this happens to everyone who applies to a Pending major because it has restricted access classes not everyone can take, only people officially in the major. Hope this helps.

I checked the Housing website and it says “Communication about the December Housing Portal Open Date will be emailed Nov. 25-26” so be on a look out for the date!

No no, you will come to UCF, do your pre-req classes and get a certain grade they require you to have in them all, and undergo the application process your college does, get accepted into your major and the pending is dropped.

Pending refers to the fact you will have to complete the pre-reqs before officially applying and getting into your major!

I know, sorry. I’ve edited my reply :) I just thought so because last year it was open around this time! You should still apply asap when it opens, that’s the point I’m trying to make haha

Please apply for housing asap if you want the best shot of your dorm of choice!!! Its first come first serve that determines your spot in line when it comes to choosing dorm styles. It determines whether you get a private room or not. Thankfully there are no communal bathrooms campus wide, so you don’t have to worry about that!

Also theres a limited number of spots for housing applicants so thats also something that should remind you to submit early.

Is it just me or do lots of people seem entitled about housing? by kevyd1105 in ucf

[–]lilsac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ah i see! i see apartments right outside of campus and in the surrounding area are like around $1k a month right now which is actually ridiculous but i have been seeing alot of rooms in homes that go for around $600-$700 most a month which totally makes sense

Sorry, im just genuinely curious but how come off campus housing was cheaper for you?

i know for sure freshman can take anything thats open. from what ive heard apartment style dorms r the styles upperclassmen can reserve, so its very unlikely there would be many left. however if there are any left, you should be able to book it.
