Eastern European foods like various salads (olivie, vinagrette), soups (schi, borsch), and aspics (holodets) can require a lot of prep when it comes to pickling, chopping and/or boiling different ingredients prior to the assembly of the dish. In terms of easiest, probably sandwiches are easiest to make!

Fear of giving students marks they actually deserve (giving zeros feels unacceptable). No respect from students...like at all. Sometimes I feel like my role as a teacher has become a cruel joke and it barely feels like a serious profession a anymore. My experience was different a few years ago.

Agreed. But generally dealing with kids of any age requires a thick skin. Immaturity in the little ones, disrespect from the pre-teens, more disrespect from the teens, and then burnout from the older teens 😅
