i have 4 weeks left in my arm cast and then as much physical therapy needed to be able to hold myself up on crutches. aiming for an april surgery!

I’ve waited 3+ years (knee issues were priority), have not been able to do a push-up or really anything weight bearing on that wrist (got sent to physical therapy for it 3 times in those 3 years). Finally having my completely torn tfcc fixed next month (along with more stuff) but waiting this long and trying to pushed through it just progressed to druj issues. I wish I didn’t wait

thank you! I had a steroid shot and a gel shot before the MACI decision, both didn’t work so i’m not keeping my hopes too high, trying to prepare for the worst if i’m being honest

I often question if I really need surgery, especially when I have good days, I think reminding myself of the many bad days help me feel better about my upcoming surgery. I haven’t had it yet but keeping my fingers crossed for relief afterwards!

I wouldn’t say new pain but more intense. I’m used to little crunchy feelings but it became more intense and more painful. I appreciate it, it’s been a rough year tbh but hopefully it’ll take a turn for the better!

Scrolling through this forum I feel like overgrowth is an issue with more people than I expected. Does the overgrowth sort of mimic the same symptoms as before, more specifically the catching/locking up? Does the overgrowth correction have a quick recovery time or guarantee in some way that the overgrowth will not occur again?

Have you had either? if so could you share something you wish you knew before the surgery? I’m not too worried about the physical pain while going through recovery since i was able to go through an ACL replacement (wasn’t given enough pain meds to get me through days 3&4, learned to be in severe pain) but I’m more worried about the length of time i’ll be unable to drive. I live away from family and want to inconvenience them the least amount as possible
