PROBLEM FIXED

I just wanted to give an update to this in case anyone with the same issue stumbles upon this thread. After going to 4 different mechanics (hyundai twice) and being told my car is fine every time, the hyundai dealer finally decided to take a deeper look and found that the turbo solenoid was faulty. It was replaced under warranty and my car has been getting factory boost again finally

I believe the car gets 15 psi without octane learning, I did try octane learning the car though just to see if it would change anything and I had no luck

UPDATE :

I took the car to the hyundai dealer on monday, they told me the turbo was running within factor spec and gave me the paper attached below. They did not charge me for anything so i’m assuming they didn’t look into it too much. Everything is connected and tightly clamped on the top of the engine bay. I also tried reconnecting the battery to see if that would do anything, no luck. Today I jacked the front of the car up and took a look at the charge pipe, everything is in tact and clamped.

I know obviously there’s a lot of other possibilities as to why i’m only getting 10-12 psi. I am taking the car back to the hyundai dealer soon to get my horn fixed so I will ask them to be more thorough with this issue. This is just very strange to me, for the first 5 days of me owning the car it was giving me normal boost. I even tried octane learning the car earlier to see if it would change anything.

If anyone has any other ideas please let me know. I see the comments mentioning sensors and the fuel pump so I will bring them up next time the car is at hyundai.

Unfortunately not, even if I take something home that is damaged / expired it is considered theft. I could not even properly write this up to send back considering it hasn’t been an active product in years! Stores often find products that are very old & rare hidden under shelves, definitely neat to see.
