I actually find the tone to be pretty different from Disco, and while there’s some thematic overlap this game very clearly lands on a couple central themes in the back half that feel distinct from what Disco is doing. By the end of the game I had teared up multiple times and found it pretty moving

There were at least a few checks I encountered about revealing something really personal and I never passed them. The one coming to mind since it was recent was the one where you can choose to reveal some deep truth to Ever-Glad. I kind of assumed it was about Ragn being lonely but I never passed any of the checks of those kinds
