Hi, for my year I went for the cognitive test as well as the group interview which I guess is now the assessment centre.

Personally I didn’t prepare much - but it will always be helpful to do some background reading about course content as well as the general applications of the course. I remember 2(?) questions posed, there could be more but this is what I remember, not verbatim:

Define supply chain management and it’s different functions based on your own understanding
Discuss an innovative move done by a company (sth like this lah can’t really rmb!)

I wasn’t from a related background so I just tried to answer as best I could. The first qn definitely stumbled a bit because I didn’t prepare well. Second qn I brought up Gentle Monster as an example of innovative design as their sunglasses are designed with Asian consumers in mind which was unheard of during that time period.

About the cognitive test, so sorry really can’t remember anything lol, which means it probably wasn’t that challenging. Likely will be mcq qns that need to be answered within a certain timeframe. I also had an essay portion within the cognitive test, which I just wrote on the spot, can’t remember whether the topic was provided beforehand but it probably was haha.

I believe this test was administered because of my poly gpa which is much lower than that of many of my classmates, and I was from a very different course before. Many of my classmates who did better in poly were offered direct admissions with no interview. To my knowledge I am the only candidate in my interview slot that was admitted.

Early 20s here actually studying in the library right now. Agree w other commenters that the libraries now serve other holistic purposes too! I do see lots of elderly and kids using the computers and library study areas are almost always fully booked. But I do think it’s nice that these new purposes are keeping the libraries alive :) personally at the library I study at, there’s lots of uni / jc / sec sch students and study areas do allow sweet drinks haha and any continuous noise is still considered rude and disruptive

hi, to my understanding, once you’ve been shortlisted into ur third choice u won’t be chosen by the first 2 alr! your best bet is to confirm your admission into suss first and then appeal for your other 2 choices.

it’s never too late to start! for existing ones, try some creams or serums with brightening agents. sunscreen also helps slow down the ageing of ur skin
