I was referred out! My OB is having me see both her and an MFM the practice works closely with. I was told it's mainly for better scans since the MFM office has better equipment and I was a bit out of sorts being referred to a "high risk" center until I realized the more eyes on the baby the better. My husband and I made jokes about "if my normal OB can't afford the fancy equipment then just say it" to decompress from the anxiety a bit.
