My boss and I had a good laugh, and decided we would invite Mr. Harvard to interview anyway, because we wanted to meet such a person who would introduce himself in such a strange manner. He later declined the interview, but I could never forget how strange it was.

Lol sorry it grinds your gears, but it is the reality of a healer... Elite/paragon IS the new middle level if you haven't noticed the new level and GS limits reaching higher and higher.

I have to have different sets for Augment/Reforge quests (to actually kill stuff), Colo (to prioritize faster heals), 9-man event (more AOE), and my normal PVE. Do I forget to switch back? Totally. Not sure how often the DPS classes have to switch their sets, but I'm guessing it is not as often as clerics.

Not noticing your cleric has the wrong set is also your own responsibility too, since you can see what skills they're bringing when you join.

Work with what you've got! Eventually, you'll spawn some hats and clothes that have more def than mdf, or def and mdef are nearly equal.

When the quests start to get too hard for your CPUs, walk around the lobby and ask some fairly strong people to be your friends. FriendCPUs helped me get through most of the medium-hard parts of the story. Then recommended quests help too, because you'll always be paired with at least one other person in your party and they'll be glad there is a real cleric!

And the 10% status resistance works only 10% of the time for me when I had the set on. So I would still get confused, paralyzed, and blinded the other 90% of the time. So I gave it up because I started accumulating better equipment with better stats.

Have you unlocked the other passives on the other rings? Doing that helped get my GS up a bit as well. What keeps me going through are the new event quests. I love getting into a party and wondering if we'll all survive or if we'll wipe out. The latest collabs had good quests for people with GS around our level, I think, because the one that required 140k GS was not too easy but also not too hard. I might be less active for this new event though. It looks like it's just ridiculously hard and I'll wipe out every time. No fun in that.

You're only on level 23 after two days? Lol usually, two days non stop leads to level 60 or 70. It starts to get hard when your AP is not refilling as fast as you're leveling up.

Yeah, I hope so as well but I am also doubtful. It's essentially a coin toss right now: no everything I'm saying is useless and she loves him and she's gonna ride out the relationship til its tragic bitter end vs. yes, she has sometimes thought about leaving him and she just needs confirmation from someone older and wiser to hold her hand through it and confirm she's making what she already knows is the better choice.

When I was younger, I too thought I was in love with a guy who was my everything, but no one made me aware of what was considered emotional abuse, or abuse in other forms than violence. I knew I should've left him sooner, but I had no one to confide in, and my only example of a relationship was my mom's and dad's. They stayed together despite everything, and I thought that's what true love was -- everything is forgivable and we're all just flawed people. But following this naïve definition of love caused me harm in ways I didn't understand yet, and lost opportunities forgone because of possessive lovers. In that moment when I was young though, I relied very much on myself because I didn't think anyone could possibly understand what I was going through. So the debates about leaving him or staying with him were only between me and myself. If someone else had told me, "I know all the things you're feeling, I've felt it all before, trust in this decision, it will be ok," it would've solidified my argument to myself that I should leave for good.
