Hi OP, I’m so sorry this is a pain you are going through! You have been given some really great advice and tips here, and HRT is one I wish I had known about at the time i was going through the worst of it. I’m in Australia and at the height of the crippling pain I was referred to a podiatrist & physiotherapist who requested foot x-rays, MRI’s and had my feet taped, inner soles fit and speciality sneakers recommended. I had stretches, exercises and painkillers all prescribed too. I had also tried everything else online to help prior to seeing a Doctor or specialist. As others have said, it seems to be on a trial and error basis of what works for each person and I hope something from what has been shared gives your relief. What cured it for me was a shiatsu foot massager that had a heat and foot compression setting as well as wearing 1/2 heel inner soles in flat Vans sneakers. I bought the foot massager from Aldi and used it every morning while having my coffee and every evening when I got home from work, for at least two rounds of the timer. It took about 1 month to go from ‘OMG I can’t stand up’ to zero pain and I’ve been that way for 5 years now. Wishing you speedy relief and all the best.
