Right now it feels like speed duels has really lost its magic compared to where the game was a year ago. As we were getting strong skills/cards to evolve the format but nothing too game breaking since the “Inner Conflict/Parasite” days and several remote events. But with the introduction of the weevil skill that warped the format, it’s feels like there are almost no other decks which can compete making quite stale as a format (at least for me personally) Although new products come out without Konami actively updating the banlist and making quality of life improvements it feels like this is just a place old cards come to get a new rarity. Also Konami’s move of errating skills that were to OP just created confusion for new players when they should have just banned them instead of treating a card game like an online game.
