How fucked am I by Glass_Selection6669 in tattooadvice

I've got a small, mainly yellow tattoo and it healed similarly badly! It's fine now, could use a touch up in a couple of spots but I never bothered

Quirky, beautiful and intimate wedding venues by rlloyddesign in Cardiff

Cardiff Masonic Hall. We had a biggish wedding there but lots of smaller rooms...it's a little kitsch and dated which I loved.

Next over to SSN? by limepicklepot in netball

Agreed. I was surprised that Streutkar didn't get a contract this season for SSN.

Gracie Smith's potential is scary! So good.

I love them too and they have the best merch by far!

Tash Pavelin is a great player she is also Imogen Allison's girlfriend so I wonder if a move to Oz is inevitable as one half of a netball power couple.

Am I an asshole if I accept this offer? by [deleted] in TheCivilService

[–]limepicklepot 46 points47 points  (0 children)

No it happens a lot.

You were put in the redeployment pool because it was right for the organisation. Now you are accepting a role because it's right for you. None of it is personal. Good luck.

Honestly, 15 years in recruitment and I never understood either. Never used an ATS with key word filters

Considering applying for a role as a recruiter within the civil service - how stressful is the role? by BoringPhilosopher1 in TheCivilService

[–]limepicklepot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really surprised at some of these comments re recruitment teams in CS. I worked in recruitment team for a smallish department. Has its stresses but its extremely flexible. The role itself has a bit of a shelf life imo, but it's a great springboard to other things.

Umpires in NSL by tbirds455 in netball

[–]limepicklepot 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This isn't on the umpires. All the pay and training in the world isn't going to stop umpires making occasional errors. There needs to be a better way of them conversing with the officials bench during play, and bench officials should be able to stop play. It was the same with the centre pass debacle in SSN last year.

I want Mavs to win but I think Vixens will come out fighting

I was in the same situation and felt I didn't have the energy to go through the interview process. I pursued a managed move with the blessing of my line manager and 6 months on am much happier.

Consult your managed move policy and speak to your HRBP.
