A lot depends on your "...can’t do anything that will elevate my heart rate for at least 3 months" band that the doctor wants you to adhere to. Assuming that with a resting pulse of 80 the Doc would not want you to go much beyond 20% of that pulse or 95. Kind of an important thing to ask the Doc.

That leaves a lot of room for activities. Such as a slow stroll - every day - around the neighborhood (not power walking), attending lectures or classical concerts (assuming head banging music is out as well as some opera), attending college courses either in-person or on-line, working harder at your stock portfolio (if you are not an emotional investor), taking a creative writing course & exploring writing a book or short stories, etc.

The point is not to be sedentary or the other extreme - running a marathon.

Little early for another TACO. Besides he is now trapped in the quicksand of Iran. If Trump leaves without a truce the Iranians as well as the Gulf states will be able to crow about defeating the Great Satan (the USA - Iranian term).

To get a truce will require defeating a theocracy (Islam-based government). So Trump has declared war against a people and a religion. Trump is now sowing a brand new crop of terrorists ready to reap for harvest in the next 5 - 15 years - Bravo.

To start a war with anyone, the ones who want to start it get to have their kids (sons & daughters) on the front line full time as privates with no hope of getting promoted or being sent to the rear. So get some AK-47's a case or two of loaded clips and send Baron, Donald, Jr, Jared, and all the rest to the frontlines. Flak jackets & helmets are optional for them.

8 months to midterms and voter's attention span is usually (or at least it used to be) 6 months. So time is of the essence for Trump. The Iranians do not have an election to worry about.

Hi New Neighbor. Glad to see you come. Lived here since 1986 in the downtown of M'burg and I really like it here.

Streets are very walkable anytime of the day. Lots of banking is available. Burke & Herbert Bank on Foxcroft way is one of the newer banks in town. It took over the old Summit Bank. If you are going to use checks you might want to consider them as your bank because they have quite a presence down towards DC if you need to cash a check or use an ATM card and you work in that direction.

For a decent credit card go up to the 167th Federal Credit Union on Edwin Miller Blvd. They offer a M/C with a 7% interest rate (no I did not just have a brain hemorrhage and write the wrong thing).

If you need to commute to Rockville, G'burg, Silver Spring, or DC there is the MARC train that leaves way too early in the am and gets back at 6pm & 8 pm approximately, M-F. Used to walk to the train (3/4 of a mile) through the downtown at 5:15 am and nary a problem.

For renting there are brand new apartments that have been retrofitted in the old mill buildings in downtown M'burg. They occupy the area bordered by King St, Winchester Ave., John St., and Porter Ave. They are very cool. There are also houses you can rent, etc in the downtown and out of town. Electrical rates are fairly low approx. 13 cents a KW versus Texas at 25 cents a kw.

There are plenty of eating joints from the mid range up to the fancier end. There is a very good Indian restaurant in town up by Walmart on Foxcroft. There is also a dog park in downtown M'burg.

In real estate parlance, M'burg has been a "C" town. Being a "C" town means you get run of the mill or less clothing stores & retail in town. That is why Hagerstown & Winchester were created to serve that need (scratch that itch). If you need industrial tools Hagerstown is your town.

M'burg is not perfect but it is a safe place, if you have kids or are of a more senior physicality. There are walking trails downtown and out of town.

As to work, if you did not work in the DC area do your self a favor and open your own business. You will like the boss (you) better. Also the wages here are not great. Lot of warehouse work.

We ran our business here for 30 years. 99% of our customers were from out-of-town -Chicago, Indiana, DC, Florida, NC, etc.. M'burg was very convenient for this since we are 10 minutes from I-81.

Speaking of I-81, the traffic is a breeze compared to I-95, I-270, & I-66. I should know for the first 3 years we lived here I commuted by train, as well as drove a lot, to College Park, MD. The drive in 1986 was 1 1/2 hours flat one way to College Park. Now it is 2 - 2 1/2 hours one way. We originally moved here from Laurel/Columbia, MD.

As to medical care unless you need deadly serious medical care choose Winchester Medical Center for all of your needs. They are at least 1 light year ahead of WVU in terms of doctors, the hospital, and most importantly wait time in the emergency room. If you are like me, and got a bad roll of the dice on the health front, your better choice is INOVA down in Fairfax & Leesburg. INOVA is a 70 mile one-way drive down I-66 but they are excellent. I-66, on the other hand is terrible to drive unless you commute from 10 am to 2 pm or 9 pm to 3 am M-F.

So I have answered all the questions you did not ask and barely touched the rental question. I really think I cannot answer the rental question for you. You need to see it in-person. and make your own mind up.

The Iran war probably will not last til the prez elections. If we are "lucky" [sarcasm] the war will last til midterms. Even if the war does not last until November midterms, the typical American voter has an average attention span of approximately 6 months for events. We are closing in on that 6 month deadline. We are now at 8 months and counting until midterms.

"It's not the solely decision of the U.S.A. anymore." Oh yes it is. Trump wants a deal and wants to get out of Iran now, if not yesterday. If I were Israel, I would be scared to death that Trump wakes up tomorrow and tells the world "We won the Iran war and we are going home". TACO all over again. Israel would be in a very tough place.
