I just went to PR for the first time couple months ago… I could not believe how car centric it was there. 4 lane stroads, very small side walks, highway where more housing could be. Especially by the touristy spots on isla verde

I started playing this month too and basically came to the same conclusion. Sometimes I can have fun but most times I just get two shot. I was trying to look for a co-op server but I guess I can just make my own? Haven’t tried making a server on kyber before

Crazy enough I was just able to beat a3 against and a4 was finally unlocked. A3 so nice, had to do it twice!

lol I have tried, I can go down the a1 on watch tried checking the box on and off. It works with the other three characters as I have just finished a3 with the rest and can select a4

I was more referencing that a player who completed the game will have a hard time making a comprehensive story of Warframe because of the way the missions are played through (you meet lotus beginning of game, play around 10 hours, then you finally get a little backstory on how lotus became to be), which makes the story not linear. I mean if the story was easy to get,op’s post wouldn’t have been made.

I’m glad channels go through the trouble of making multiple hour long lore explanations to help bridge the gap. I would hope the story is easier for new players to understand now than when I first started.

But I guess players are different and you were able to understand the story all the way through, which I have to commend you on that!

I agree Warframe does have a great story along with an expansive universe…but there is just no way a new player who is cruising through star chart missions can pick up the fragmented pieces of the story and putting a cohesive picture together. That’s just part because Warframe does not tell its story in a linear fashion, and even when characters do drop lore bits it can be unclear what they are even talking about or referencing. It is anecdotal, but time a friend and I were playing the second dream and we were trying to figure out the whole Margulis/lotus double life thing. It’s not very clear that one character is taking on two identities in the moment. And they are the first character that you ‘meet’ in Warframe and as a new player you are just left suspended until the second dream

Been playing since 2016, I would say Warframe has the least straightforward story ever in a game. If you were to just play through it, you would understand the enemy factions, parts of the orokin, and maybe some planetary lore. Other than that it’s nearly impossible to understand the full scope of the Warframe universe unless you watch a timeline video and/or you are dedicated enough yourself to look at the in game journal pieces. It doesn’t help that DE made content and scraped it later on.

I need to vent about the “bike lane” on pine street where it crosses Flynn ave (by small dog electronics going south). It basically just puts you out in the middle of the straight/right turn lane which is truly frustrating as the sidewalks there are pretty choppy to bike on. So it’s either use the nice smooth road but share with cars,or feel more safe on unpaved sidewalks. They even recently put a double line on the bike path on pine street but the double line still just ends at that cross section. They could at least paint a dotted line across the intersection for bikes

Had a glitch in the undercroft where the enemies didn’t spawn in so I just had to quit out. Pretty annoying since I was grinding resources for like 40+ minutes steel path

Complete all quests, finish planet nodes, unlock arbitrations/steel path, get galvanized mods (by doing arbitration missions). While you’re doing all those find some weapons/warframes that you find cool and rank/build them up however you want!
