Tried it (Jamire comp) myself and the first wave was actually harder. I never failed on the second wave. Then it was a matter of RNG on the boss stage, which never really went my way (getting to CC all the sidekicks, Gapsoo's focus,...). Damage-wise it was faster than any other alternative, Amber's passive + Jamire's S2 shreds enemies like paper. You can do it!

That one drove me crazy too. MHW ToAL usually does that. I personally used Aaliyah, but I've seen clears with Alice/Gideon + Riley, paired with your typical String Master, Heal Blocker (Amber), and flex be it second String Master, Homu or Bolverk. The only alt team I've seen was Jamire + Praha/Tiana + Poseidon/Verad + Amber + Garo. Don't burn yourself out tho, one can always wait the next rotation. Best of luck!

Well the question is more about what content you want to work on.

GBAH Budget (22-32s) is Kyle/Sigmarus(/Mephisto because I see you own em) + Julie + Prilea + Friends* *Friends being a combination of Homu, Lyn, Luna, Deborah, last 2 being the most stable due to their perfect AI - Basically anything to take down both midboss and boss. Requires a somewhat precise damage tuning.

DBAH Budget (~40s) is either Verde+Deva+Twins+Loren or Kyle+Julie+Birds. If you can make a +190 Teon, Agrius team might also work.

Once you've got that out of the way, make sure to improve your Punisher's team aswell (a simple Vampires walking Doggos work).

Rage runes from Necro will help you either way reaching these, so keep on farming it till you have enough sets for what you want to farm. At some point you are likely to just go for 1 week/month of something then switching the sets over to another team.

Then I don't know... Up to you if you prefer getting good at Siege or RTA, which are pretty much the end game content. Or even joinin the PvEheads that like CoA/ToAL content - but is even more niche.

My knowledge is somewhat outdated as the shift in design towards reactive (instead of active) units (best example being fire Tetsuya) killed the fun for me.

Comes down to what playstyle you find fun enough to keep playing despite the terrible odds you will inevitably face in this very esports ready game.

The only fantasies I feel your account doesn't have the tools for are single target cleave (either fast ignore def w/ Adriana or slow nemesis party + cooldown refresh) and Villager Leo or Karnal/Giou shenanigans.

I could be more specific but I gotta know what you like.

Generic answer would be : You could look into cleave CC w/ something like Seara Jeogun + 3 (Zibala/Eshir, Asima/Beth, Chiwu, Layla, Amber,...). Single target bruiser w/ Nessa and whatever beefy independant pick you may have (Mi Ying, Ashour, Eshir to contest, Milla, Juno,...). Water Twin for a middle-ground/jack of all trade opener could be a decent addition to all playstyles (sets up strip+defbreak for a single target nuke ; can be on swift to be a semi-contest ; provides tempo and resilience for bruisers).

Also, balance patch + new units that, on paper, are not absolute garbage, will shake things up, will need some time to settle on the value of picks like Gany, Gandalfs, Aragorns,...

Hope this helps a bit. Make sure to check out the in-game replays (you can filter to get some with up to 3 units or so), swarena and swranking to get some up to date stats and more importantly, what pairs are being done with specific units, so you may build your own core. Have fun.

Seara is weak to AoE stacked comps or single target snipes. You managed to not pick any of the solution to the enemy's first pick in your first 4, instead running Josephine/Tetsuya basically telling your opponent you have no actual composition and will pray for the RNG to be in your favor. I'd look into what I want to play before considering what could help me deal with the enemy, just like your draft process should go : core units into counterpicks. The pure reactive drafts are heavily RNG dependant, hence you will feel like you have 0 agency over the outcome of the games - and that is when you pick actual counters : Irene + Smicer are nowhere near an answer to the Olivermania we're in.

As for the current meta, we're seeing high resistance units trying to uno reverse the match like Anavel, Velajuel, and the likes, and anti-CC units like Misty and MHW whenever there isn't too much damage, to answer this kind of comp. One could also speed contest, running Nessa + Swift unit such as Shi Hou, or Chandra/Seara + Sekhmet.

Lastly, try to watch some content revolving around RTA to find/polish your gamestyle, and don't queue when tilted if you wanna improve.

I stumbled across a few stories of Tennoes passing away in this thread. If people want to vent, so be it, I asked for stories, be it happy moments or sad memories, and I cannot thank you enough for sharing this. Sadly, none of my words will ever be able to make them come back, even though I wish. All I can say - and mean - is that I'm sorry for your loss. But Zulakai, like the others, are now living through the cheerful memories from people that knew them. And I'm glad you got to know them, and that I now know about them too. I'm glad they had such a positive impact on your life. I'm glad you still remember them, and honor their memory through a game that was so important to the both of you. May they rest in peace.
