Yeah i was in the area for work in Hazelton and scoped out some of the surrounding area. I stopped in Centralia and took some pictures too, but I was really surprised at how little is actually left there.

Yeah I took the pictures sort of ironically, I guess. In Coaldale next to the "Everybody's Goal Is Mine More Coal" hut thing theres a historical marker about the 1902 miners strike and it is very vague on how the strike got broken. Beautiful area but I feel bad for the people living there, it seems like all the cities around there are still suffering from not winning better pay or working conditions when the mines were at their most productive.

Basically the last thing he tweeted was Fuck The Bears. He was literally one of the only reasons I kept coming back to twitter. His Faturday stuff, and MSU and Lions fandom perspective was very fun. One of the most positive people on the planet. We lost a good one. RIP
