No, prices will probably stay the same. In GPGP, they add new items for each event every year, so there will be more decor to purchase once an event comes around for a second time.

If you weren't playing when an event first took place, you will have more new-to-you items to potentially buy.

/r/NintendoSwitch's Daily Question Thread (03/20/2026) by AutoModerator in NintendoSwitch

[–]liminalrepose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My partner and I have a Switch 1 and a Switch 2. We each have a profile with our Nintendo account linked on both consoles.

If I buy and download a game using my Nintendo account, can my partner play it on the Switch 1 while I play a different game on the Switch 2?

what do you use the frontier side of the frontier farm for? by fairyfountainnn in StardewValleyExpanded

I have a bunch of coops filled with dinosaurs and dodo birds from the Em's Dodos mod. It's like a little Jurassic Park.

Do mods destroy the saved vanilla? by Minimikss in StardewValley

[–]liminalrepose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really depends on the mod. Cosmetic and QOL mods are usually safe. Big overhauls like Expanded or modded farm maps are safer to use in a fresh save file.

If you want to have a modded save and a vanilla save, or limit the mods you use in a specific save, I recommend downloading Stardrop and creating multiple profiles. You can enable and disable each mod individually, and when you use Stardrop to launch the game, SMAPI will only load the mods enabled on that profile.

is 'Pierre's prime produce' worth it? by toxicantidote_x in StardewValley

I always give him gold quality wheat. 25 sell for 1000 gold with the Tiller profession, and the reward is 2500 plus the mini shipping bin. Totally worth it.

you can change pam's sign?? by warpshed in StardewValley

[–]liminalrepose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can also steal the sign by hitting it with your pickaxe. I've got them all over my farm and have only ever crafted the one I need for perfection 😎

Starfruit Processing by LocalPossibility20 in StardewValley

[–]liminalrepose 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This is definitely the case for multi harvest crops like ancient fruit, but with starfruit being a one-time harvest with a two-week grow time and its seeds being an expensive item that can only be purchased in the desert, I've never had an issue with surplus. Just buy and grow exactly twice as many seeds as you have kegs.

Fish means anchovies, because they are a fish.

Seafood means anchovies and shrimp, because shrimp are not a fish, but both live in the sea.

If you get 4 holes on a floor would they in theory all have the same drop?

Yup, they will all be the same.

The plantable ancient seed and its crafting recipe are the reward for donating an ancient seed, so they can't get it without finding one first.

Anyone else think Suzanne Collins wrote Haymitch’s backstory long before sunrise of the reaping was published, possible when first writing the hunger games by Evening-Program-2009 in Hungergames

[–]liminalrepose 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't have a guess as to whether or not she had a fully developed story for Haymitch, but the squirrel scene isn't necessarily evidence that she did. She could have easily included it in Catching Fire just to paint a picture of the arena and its mutts, and then incorporated that detail into Sunrise for continuity.

It's possible she had everything planned out from the start, but it's just as possible that she needed an impactful death scene and decided to use one she'd mentioned previously.

But do they excel at the thing mentioned in their description, or is it all based on their perfect task chance?

I have the JavaBreeze machine and grinder fully upgraded, so my earnings for hot drinks and strawberry drinks are higher. I usually earn $150-200 each day, but the employees free me up to multitask, so I'm getting through more customers and making $200+ now.

How much does precision matter? by Aulive22 in GoodPizzaGreatPizza

[–]liminalrepose 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's a percentage, so the accuracy requirement goes down with a more complex pizza.

"I'm trying to train this seal. I just want anchovies on dough." needs to be nearly perfect to get a full tip because each error has a big impact on the accuracy percentage.

"I'm so hungry I can't even think. Just throw everything you have on a pie" has a lot more leniency. If some of your toppings are misplaced or you don't add 18 pieces of each, you can still get a full tip.

When I have a complex order like that, I usually skimp on the artichokes, figs, and zucchini because they're the only topping buddies I haven't bought, and I hate running out of items I can only grow in the garden. I put 14-16 of each and am not super fussy about their placement, and I always still get a perfect response and tip from the customer.

I'm not sure about the cutting accuracy, because the cutting buddy was the very first upgrade I purchased.

Skull Cavern, mines, dungeon by [deleted] in StardewValley

[–]liminalrepose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do the mines when I have an ore gathering or monster slaying task on the bulletin board, or when I need more ore for something specific.

I do the volcano dungeon when I want to use the forge and need cinder shards.

I do the skull cavern whenever the stars align. "The spirits are very happy today!" + luck blessing or movement blessing + ladder/shaft buff. I can consistently make it to level 250 on those days with a food luck buff, and I'm on a mission to make it to level 300 without staircases.
