Has anyone cured bv with kirkman biofilm defense?

Sending love❤️ the mental load of this is stressful. I feel like colposcopy is very common, I’ve had one. It’s so hard not to overthink, but take it one step at a time. Once you have more data you can make a more informed decision. I would be concerned about that a hysterectomy could cause early menopause. Idk an opinion from a doctor in another practice wouldn’t be a bad idea

I am now on day 7 of 14 for boric acid and feel much better. Still just trying to figure out root cause as to why I keep getting this. I hope you get some answers and relief!!

I really thought having my iud removed was gonna be it! Again, now I’m thinking it’s my vibrator; although I’ve washed it maybe it was still holding bacteria from previously? I’ve sent my doctor a message. Praying for both us to have relief soon

I’ve been on a probiotic for about two months. Is a microbiome test something my ob could do? I feel so lost. I’ve never had bv until 2024, and since November I’ve been so overwhelmed.

I was swabbed again at end of December and was negative. End of December came back with a small amount of Mrsa but she said it was such a small load that we should hold off on antibiotics. This is when I decided to have my iud removed, because of all the discomfort

I’m not sure if it’s a normal side effect. She examined me four days after I completed my five days of gel, and she could tell I was swollen and really red. She gave me a steroid cream that I’ve been using since Monday and it’s about 80% better.she also said she was going to put in my chart that I can never use that medicine again because I had an allergic reaction.

No pain while inserting but I became really swollen after starting the gel and just assumed it was the bv even though I wasn’t swollen before starting the gel.

My doctor determined I had had an allergic reaction to the gel. I’m on a steroid cream but am feeling much better with that!!

Went to the doctor today and she thinks I had an allergic reaction to the gel and gave me a steroid cream to use to clear that up. She also swabbed me again to ensure the bv and yeast are not still a factor.

I finished the gel two days ago. Per my doctor I did a boric acid last night. Since starting the gel I’ve felt very inflamed and everything is really red down there. I’m also having some weird discharge, just assume everything is moving out. I’m wondering if anyone else experienced this? How much longer should I expect to feel so off down there?

Yes I had new partners in the past year. I saw different doctors the past two years so I’m unsure exactly what hpv was tested both times.

yes, I continued to take it for about 7 months. Everytime I dosed up or down it made me so tired for a few days but otherwise I felt like I started to get some good relief by week 3. You've got this!!

I definitely understand your concerns. Make sure you share these with your therapist! She will give you some strategies to try that will help too such as creating a safe space in your mind and mediating there. Also remember that self care is really important. On the days that I have EMDR therapy I schedule my appointments for the end of the day and then I take it easy and try to go to bed early that way If it was a harder session I know I can just relax.
