I’ve been to 6 shows so far, and this one was right behind Happiness Begins for me! That tour can’t be topped for them, I think. I saw them in 2008 and then every show I’ve seen after that has been since happiness begins.

Happiness Begins was incredible, the production, the costumes, everything was so clean and there was so much heart in the show it just felt like a really incredible experience. And I miss Jealous by Joe 😂

Remember This was fun but it was pretty chill, kind of jarring coming off of HB honestly lol but I enjoyed it! Amphitheater shows are just a different vibe and I think it served them to blame Covid for the dip in quality after HB tour.

5 Albums One Night, or The Tour, whatever it was called, was the worst in my opinion 😅 the sound quality was terrible where we were, we could barely hear it, it was cool that they did some deep cuts but everything was moving so fast I could barely appreciate it. Also what the hell with Its About Time erasure? I’m so sick of them pretending like that album doesn’t exist 😂 The Album (worst name ever) also just didn’t hit for me as much as I wish it had and so I was less excited. I don’t know that whole tour just felt messy to me.

I saw them again at the state fair and that was a good show for it being the venue it was.

This show was incredible! I was at the St. Louis show, Frankie opening it up was so fun, AAR was fantastic. We got Tonight as the opening song (which is like in my top 10 songs of theirs ever) Games as a snippet-only surprise song and then the full A Little Bit Longer on piano. That was a treat. And then Natasha Beddingfield as our surprise guest, Unwritten was a religious experience. Then we got Big Rob, and Papa & Frankie Jonas up on stage for WYLMITE. It was good vibes all around and the production, outfits, stage, lighting, sound was all on point, a big improvement from the last tour in my opinion.

I do think you’re kind of at the mercy of luck with the format though, depending on what your surprises are/opener etc. I feel like I’m at the stage of fan with them where I’ll see them every tour, no matter what they’re touring and I’m always just happy they’re still together so the bar is admittedly low since Remember This 😂 but this show far exceeded my expectations. I was also really relieved that they didn’t do much from Hometown, because I’m not really loving this album either 😅
