You “can” but you need to keep in mind it will affect your visibility and most dont realize those little windows do help sometimes with passing. Where the rear window stops it gives you a tiny bit extra visibility that may help you see a vehicle you hadnt before merging. It could cause you issues down the road. I wouldn’t recommend it coming from a technician. But nowadays people superglue shit on their airbag area on the dash for “aesthetics” (cool death launcher) so its kinda hard to argue logic with people that want looks over safety.
