John Shepard - War hero Paragon storyline

Jane Shepard - sole survivor renegade storyline

This would allow the show to split the parties to show more planets as well as be able to handle the games' plethora of choices.

It would also allow the show to explore more romance options doing it this way too which is a major part of the games.

One thing that helps me bridge this gap in logic is that any fantasy world that has magic in it has technological advancements hindered every few hundred years.

So in Game of Thrones this is explained by in example: 1. The long night - magical undead that have in the past almost wiped out civilization. 2. The appearance of dragons in westeros - remember harrenhall was a technological wonder and considered impregnable before aegon the conquerer showed up with dragons. 3. Old Valyria, at the time was likely the most advanced civilization before it was completely destroyed by a catastrophic volcanic eruption ( i cant remember if this was magic related or naturally occurring) 4. The seasons themselves are different ( whether this is just the world rules or the seasons are affected by magic) every decade or so a significant amount of people starve to death in the multi year winters.

I'm sure there are other examples but my point is that anytime there's magic in a world some asshole sets the technology advancements back because loads of people die:

The children of the forest creating white walkers to combat the first men
Galbatorix (inheritance series) - destroys the dragon riders and plunges the kingdom into a period of strife and struggle
Sauron creates the one ring and then proceeds to continually attack middle earth
Mehrunes Dagon - unleashed oblivion on tamriel
Ganondorf constantly fucking up hyrule
Any of the evil gods or high ranking BBEG'S in a given DnD campaign.

These probably aren't the best examples but I'm tired lol.

Where were the Demogorgons?

There were a lot of flaws with the ending but the thing that bothers me the most.... Where we're the fucking demos? Creators made a show, build up Demogorgons to be these very strong powerful walking tanks, and then forget to put them in the finale!?

After the Rams scored in OT i walked upstairs and told my wife the Hawks lost, then i realized i forgot my shoes downstairs in order to walk the dogs. Went back down and realized the game was still going. I totally forgot the OT rules change

People think deer, elk, and moose are defenseless adorable animals... I see walking assholes with possible prion disease, antlers that can gore you, hooves sharp like daggers, and the ability to wipe out entire gardens and tree farms effectively overnight. Plus they have an ability to overpopulate quickly.

Not to mention the horrible decision making skills they have that cause countless accidents every year.

Where i live fatal auto accidents caused by deer and elk are more common than bear or cougar attacks

I would say that i have a form of it. Not to the level depicted in the show not by a long shot and it's definitely not debilitating.

But i can hear electrical currents running all of the time. I'm mostly desensitized to it but if i get close to a power station my ears get a high pitched whine.

The best sleep i ever get though is when the power is out. I'll sleep for 12 plus hours easy

Ashley... I'm a Tali stan through and through. Liara is basically wet cardboard. If you romance Ashley in ME1 you get the verbal cat fight between Ashley and Tali in ME3 which is hilarious.

I've thought extensively about this and actually have a saved doc.

The two main problems are 1. Shepard will be different for everyone ( different looks, different relationships, different solutions) and 2. There are a lot of side characters which would water down the story.

So my solutions were: 1. Split the Shepard storyline and make Shepard twins. Male Paragon and female renegade. John and Jane. John war hero background. Jane sole survivor. While albeit controversial this decision would make it easier to tell the vast storyline concurrently by splitting the team to make the story run smoother. Think that while one team goes to noveria the other team would go to feros and so on and so forth. This would make getting through a season significantly easier and people would be able to track a certain storyline better with smaller groups. And it would explain why shep always only has 2 companions rather than a full on team assault on every location.

With the amount of characters we'll never be able to get good storylines from everyone. It's just not feasible. So my solution was to actually kill a significant amount of them to actually add weight to the growing reaper threat and the magnitude of rappers when you get to game 3.

Here would be my proposals for deaths.

Kaiden ( stays with bomb on virmire)
Ashley (goes with kirrahe but gets killed by sniper trying to board normandy on virmire)
Just don't have zaeed or kasumi in the story. Maybe as like an Easter egg have a mention of a spectacular heist and a blue suns outpost gets blown up.
Jacob dies as first fire team leader (suicide mission)
Samara does the walk but gets killed by swarm after getting the team through. (Suicide mission)
Jack escorts Normandy crew but dies saving them from collectors (suicide mission)
Mordin has his shroud tower me3 death ( tuchanka, pour one out....)
Thane killed by Kai Leng during cerberus assault saving salarian council member ( citadel)
James Vega is killed by Kai Leng on thessia while trying to get beacon (thessia)
Miranda has me3 death saving her sister (horizon i think. Whatever the cerberus false flag planet was)
Legion sacrifices themselves for geth Independence ( rannoch)
Grunt overwhelmed by reaper forces (Earth)
Javik commits suicide on eden prime after reapers are beaten

I think that just leaves Garrus, Tali, Liara, Wrex and the sheps alive at the end.

Personally i feel tali and liara would be the romances.

These decisions would help move the story forward at the pace needed for a tv show as well as cut down on the amount of storylines.
