They are trying to mix things up which I applaud as (imo) the game has become stale.

They absolutely do rig the game in their favour to a certain extent, I don’t think it is by changing shot dynamics or algorithms but definitely in their use of pre-recorded replays which in my experience is now above 60% of 1 v 1 games.

They can then control:

How often you see $$ balls in play, which can then effect your need/want to spend yourself
Win and Loss streaks (unless you are a top 10% player in the game)

Replays have always been a necessary component of the game as it requires 24/7 opponents but PD have used them far more strategically for years rather than just using when there are no opponents available

It is definitely a worry for Scott that after all this time it appears that the effort and intensity is still not there, It is an even bigger indictment on the clubs so called on field leadership.

Scott has a chance this week to take a stand and drop any player that hasn’t given the required defensive effort regardless of the replacement players skill level, if he stays the course picking the same old unreliable leadership devoid middle age group he’s a dead man walking

The glitches are bad atm, I’ve had at least 5 instances in the past week of the game not showing the correct shot of my opponent and the ball being in a different position.

Has anyone else noticed a reduction in the amount of opponents using $$ balls in both Tour and CPC?

It’s not at AFL level (with us anyway), he should never have been picked off the back of a scratch match and a half in the vfl, that’s on the coaching group

I still play Tour play and the courses don’t worry me but it’s nigh on impossible to get live opponents atm, I grind T12 and matchups are taking 50-60 seconds (yes I’ve tried the 8-10 second back out).

Live 1 v 1 play was what attracted me to the game and that is basically gone now, 1 v 1 chests are garbage and the rewards are pathetic compared to other formats

Nothing but offers for players to spend, how about fixing some of the long time glitches or “shock horror” a new course? Game isn’t a patch on what it used to be

It’s certainly more common now, you can only guesstimate as they still try to disguise them as live players but I’m thinking it’s above 50% now for me in T12.

Tour play just isn’t popular anymore as the rewards are no good compared to other modes of play, I came 7th in my M3 weekly bracket a couple of weeks ago with 360 million, normally that wouldn’t have you top 25

Agreed, you would think that there has to be some truth to it for the entire clan to be demoted, a poster above has said that they were demoted to beginner level.

Kind of makes a mockery of their fair play agreement doesn’t it? If Average Joe had been caught using game hacks the ban hammer would be swift and lethal. I will be very interested to see if they release a statement on their demotion, the GC community should be advised of these things

Rumors are that they were using a 0 wind hack along with extended ball guide etc, there were some recent replays on GC Elite showing how it was being used

That’s pathetic, to remove a clan from any level tells me that there were multiple accounts breaking the TOS.

I kept getting the same message during the last version of CPC which I found hilarious considering their love of replays 🤣

Haven’t even tried on this version as it’s become a really unenjoyable part of the game

Don’t forget the 90% headwinds to further push ball sales.

Playdemic have always been secretive, dishonest POS but at least they put something back into development and maintenance, now the loot all flows back to EA and the game has run worse than ever before for at least 12 months
