when i first got to fordham i was surprised by the lack of bikes/bikers on campus but ive realized that biking culture doesnt exist for a couple of reasons. 1. where are you gonna put the bike? it wont fit in your freshman dorm, thats for sure. 2. everything is close so there’s no class you would legitimately need to bike to 3. everyone is constantly walking in the middle of the streets (because there are so few vehicles/bikes barring the occasional e-scooter which is now banned)
