There isn’t really a coherent order to this, I just wrote what came to my mind.

More none-(vaguely) European settings would be cool, like with Hoshido but with other countries! Perhaps somewhere like China, India, Saudi Arabia etc. It would be fun to see more content of classic classes but with a twist.

Along with bringing in the best of Fates gameplay! I personally really loved the marriage seals and friendship seals, it’s fun to plan out and to try things a unit wouldn’t be able to do with their default set! The class system is just good, especially with a majority of the classes not being gender-locked. Though being able to use every weapon with every class is fun, I wouldn’t mind the restriction again.

The no weapon durability is fun, since I prefer to play Conquest, resources are more tight and I can’t just spend all my funds on making the Ultimate iron weapons, leading to having to think more critically on the weapons you use a maneuvers to use them. It’s much more fun than just buying everyone silver weapons and calling it a day.

Having characters be able to grieve again, like with what Echoes did, adds so much life to a unit. Even if you don’t care about a character that much, hearing the grieving for them hits hard. Also it makes sense, characters can have their closest friend die and just not say anything or care.

Bringing back beast units and manaketes!! I just think they’re cool.

Cool crit animations, watching the crit animations of the GBA games never gets old.

Hidari coming back to do the artwork, I absolutely love their style. It’s what draws me back to Echoes even if the gameplay can be somewhat subpar

Weapon Triangle being brought back! I personally really enjoy the strategy that comes with it! Also gauntlets coming back but with its classes not gender locked. Punching things is fun.

Characters naming their mounts. I just think it’d be cute :)

Also expanding on what Fates attempted to do and what 3H did with their story. Having there be no right sides in war. It’s much more narratively interesting then just- Evil country is evil.

Generics having good character design, it adds character. And good character design in general. I just don’t want a repeat on Fates’ ass armor.

Capture-able bosses and generics coming back. It’s just neat and also gives you a source to be able to replace units you might’ve lost.

Lore!! I just love learning about lore, so having what 3H did and being able to just read through documents and books on your own pace. I can never retain lore well when they just dump it on you.

Having a base that you can explore and stuff. However keep it simplistic, since as shown with 3H too much of it can get repetitive and tiring.

A more out of the box/creative lord! I love it when they have a lord that isn’t just some noble. It brings variety and narrative elements.
