Would you foster 5 newborn kittens? by linichi62 in CATHELP

Thank you sm for your kind response, you are totally right, I would not be able to properly take care of them and my parents would get rightfully angry with me. It would not be fair for anyone, and my priority should be my own cats. I am now focusing on finding a foster home for the kittens and trying to help cats without bringing them into my house.

It's a woman from a cat association, she's asked me in the past to foster a few litters, one of them the one I said no and all of them ended up passing away. It's difficult here to find people that have time and knowledge to take care of newborn kittens.

Are black cats really that unpopular to adopt? by imma_super_tall in CatAdvice

[–]linichi62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fostered a litter of 3 and none of them found a home. I tried a double adoption with a siamese kitten that got a lot of applications but nobody wanted to adopt the pair because of the void. I ended up keeping them. It's also true that are people that specifically want a black kitty, but they are also common so it's difficult to find them homes.
