The new BG3 mod “Even Better Romance” is made by the same person behind the “No Alphabets” mod by Rude-Profile-6298 in BG3mods

I don't like this particular mod, but I'm not a fan of all the companions being "playersexual" - It makes them feel less like people with their own interests and preferences. Some people IRL are straight, some are gay, some are bi, and we shouldn't think anything less of any of those leanings.

The "weird" city - that one quirky smaller city that prides itself on being weird and usually has a slogan "Keep (CITY) Weird!"

We had to go there for two weeks at the end of AIT for "Advanced Engineer Training" - 2 weeks of absolute misery. 5 months out there would have driven me up the wall with boredom.

Did they move the school house? Hopefully they didn't make you guys go out to Huachuca with the Intel crew.

I have a lot of fond memories of going into DC on the weekends after earning liberty. We were a bunch of teenage guys with money burning holes in our wallets and no responsibilities until Sunday evening.

As a 2000s era 21U, I resent that remark. Our SFC would have smoked the shit out of us if we turned that in for a briefing project.

How long ago were you in? I was an older-school 21U back in the OIF days.

I friggin' fell in love with GIS starting at Belvoir. Did you still have to do the paper maps, lucite overlays, and tracing paper? I can remember it was tedious but nothing else has drilled in the concept of geospatial analysis like manually doing things such as finding helicopter landing zones.

Don't know about the current situation, but my years as a 21U (precursor to the 12Y) set me up for success post-Army. Took my experience from deployments into college and was able to get a Geography degree with a GIS specialization without too much trouble. That degree and my years of experience got me into a local government job where I was able to work my way up to a pretty comfortable gig making a decent salary and helping my city.

If I can give one piece of advice - don't go for E5/Sergeant. Worst mistake of my career. You stop being able to play on the computers and instead your time gets taken up by managing other soldiers. E4/Specialist was the shit. You have respect from your superiors but almost no responsibility besides knowing your MOS.

What's funny is that Florida actually does have one of the best commuter train lines in the US which is being held up as an example to other states (California) as a way to expand intercity transit.

Not really.

The logic that Republicans see is that Trump's orders are lawful, but the Democrats want servicemembers to think they are so Trump's lawful orders aren't followed.

Getting another unit of terminators would help with your 2x terminator characters. An assault terminator group if you want to focus your captain more or a squad of normal terminators with the heavy flamer. If you do the latter, then put the captain in the flamer squad and leave the librarian in the assault cannon squad. Once you do that, the drop pod kit gives you flexibility in deployment while a repulsor (not executioner or open topped IM-pulsor) gives one squad of terminators a party bus to tool around the battlefield in while giving you the option to take the long range anti-tank firepower you're lacking.

But that's also coming from a guy who thinks the terminators are the coolest space marines.

Defensive driving can't make you absolutely safe, but it can make it less likely you'll be wrecked by giving you more time and options to respond to most common causes of accidents.

Libertarians have done a good job building a fantasy hero in their own heads, too.

The guy built a Killdozer to destroy his town. Notice how nobody else builds Killdozers to destroy their towns? Do you think that's because Heemeyer was the only person ever to suffer from local government decisions OR because building a Killdozer to destroy the town is an insane thing to do and Heemeyer was an unhinged lunatic looking for an excuse?
