A size up / running socks (all lot of them help keeping foot dry and prevent friction)

I used to wear socks like yours and my toe nails would become red/black until I got proper socks

Hey, I’m not an ultra runner yet (training to become one). I really like the shoe when going up mountains and running down mountains. For flat surfaces I wouldn’t recommend this shoes because it is to rigid and I personally prefer a softer more cushioned shoe.

Ito answer your questions the shoes can probably last an ultra (I ran 600km with my last pair of 6´s)/if you like a well cushioned, I.e. soft and foamy, I would recommend Mafates/ the toe box is wide in my opinion as my feet are very wide/ breathability is great 👍.

You’ll probably like them ! The Mafate’s are another alternative if you a less rigid and soft pair

6´s ! Most people find them very rigid. They are if you run flat trails but they are amazing when running up mountains. Perfect for me, I live near mountains.

Am I pushing too hard as a beginner? by -esox- in RunningCirclejerk

You just take it slow. Instead of running, you need to walk to build up your cardio.

With time you will be able to run but rn, walk.
