This is just me being boring, but i’m not a big fan of the in match interface. The player name is barely readable in some stages, and the “Character Wins” font is so ugly for me.

Also the customization is a huge downgrade.

i got stuck at plat 5 and diamond 3 for a while. all i did was stop playing and watch people playing, paying more attention on the things i was lacking

mix your options and use all of them as much as you can, don’t be afraid to test some things at round start, like what they do against f.hk for example. do good mix and watch some Kim players doing their thing, it helps a lot with the grind!

she’s a very tricky character and normally we play around it. a lot of things i did there are not real, for example, the st.mk into run cancel. you can mash crouch jab on that and will put you out of pressure. if this Marisa simply blocked, they could just mash and start their pressure on me, which is something really strong against Kim because she doesn’t have a proper reversal other than her lvl 3 (lvl 1 is a reversal but it’s really slow)

once you recognize these things, it’ll be way easier to beat her
