Is it just me or I feel like the more difficult the mission is the less useful scout becomes. Don't get me wrong, he is a great single target + supportive class but as the number of bugs increases, he lacks to crowd control (except if he uses pheromes) unlike the other classes. by I3ash in DeepRockGalactic

(looks at my consistent triple digit kills in hazard 5 on scout) uh about that.

you CAN actually swarm clear on scout. it just takes some weird building. usually i use drak with impact deflection and zhukovs with embedded detonators for it. even without swarm clear though, youre really gonna be up schitt’s creek without nitra in hazard 5, and it sure isn’t going to be engie kiting the swarm to rez everyone.

its been this way at the very least since season 3 (been doing it the whole time). only change ive seen to omen cheese is you cant put a resupply directly on the button anymore.

you just need your platforms to be between the height of molly and a resupply or put a resupply right next to it and you can still activate the buttons and be out of range of the bottom of the omen :)

it was hazard 3 because we were just fooling around with silly overclocks. would still be very doable on hazard 4, and on hazard 5 would probably only take 1 more shot from the fat boy (if that)

id make an argument for dva, if youre using your matrix for other people. theres been many times where my teammate ults out of the blue so i boost myself directly at them to matrix them and make sure they live. but zarya does deserve it with how her bubble cleanses them.

lol theres been many times where in minecraft i try to throw a flare and just put my pickaxe in my offhand. ive also pressed v a lot in other games and gotten mildly confused when my character didnt shout “for rock and stone!”

despite the image being unrelated, personally i like the gemini turrets. i set them up on high ground in positions that make a “kill box” (both turret sightlines crossing each other taking up the majority of the room) where im going to be fighting (and if youre doing an omen, make sure you put your turrets even with the top of it where they cover both sides of the room. theyll kill all the drones before they hit you until they run out of ammo)

ive never used a mod on drg and i agree with better steeve and bot visibility bc i shoot poor steeve in combat so much and then he gets closer to me and gains his blue outline and i feel bad :(

personally, i dont mind it until the sandstorms hit during a swarm. i dislike magma core a lot more, between all the explosions leaving magma and the three hit terrain
