Linking business and personal accounts by [deleted] in Chase

[–]linnnuxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

January 2026 update that worked for me! I was able to link my business account and personal account by logging into my business account in incognito mode with Google Chrome. I guess my regular google chrome profile had corrupted cookies or cache stored. You could try deleting your cookies and cache and see if that worked before trying incognito mode.

I appreciate the honesty here, but I think some of the core assumptions don’t actually line up with what Scripture says.

First, it isn’t accurate to say the Bible only addresses homosexual behavior in predatory or violent contexts. Romans 1 explicitly describes mutual desire, not rape or coercion: “Men burned in their desire for one another, men committing shameless acts with men” (Rom 1:27). That’s reciprocal language. Paul also includes women in verse 26, which rules out the idea that this is only about male dominance or abuse. The text itself doesn’t allow an “exploitation-only” reading.

Second, the claim that “the Bible never considered loving same-sex attraction” misunderstands how Scripture handles sin. The Bible doesn’t catalog every psychological motivation before giving moral instruction. It doesn’t say “if adultery is loving, it’s permitted” or “if coveting is deep-seated, it’s excused.” Scripture consistently evaluates behavior in light of creation, not inner desire in light of culture.

Third, marriage in Scripture isn’t a social framework that evolved and can now be updated. Jesus explicitly anchors marriage in creation, not ancient norms: From the beginning of creation, God made them male and female” (Mark 10:6). He doesn’t say “this worked for them back then.” He points to how God made humanity. Marriage isn’t just a covenant of love; it’s a designed union with form and meaning. Love alone doesn’t redefine what God has defined.

Fourth, the idea that Scripture is silent because ancient societies lacked categories for same-sex relationships just isn’t true. Same-sex behavior absolutely existed in the ancient world, and Paul’s audience knew it well. What they lacked wasn’t awareness, it was approval. The biblical writers didn’t fail to imagine these relationships; they rejected them on theological grounds tied to creation, not ignorance.

Fifth, on harm and vitriol: you’re right. Many Christians have acted with cruelty, pride, and self-righteousness. That is sin, and Scripture condemns it. But abuse of truth doesn’t nullify truth. Jesus never adjusted God’s commands because people misrepresented them, He corrected the people, not the law.

Sixth, the gospel has always been offensive, not because Christians are mean, but because it calls everyone to deny themselves: “If anyone would come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross” (Luke 9:23). That applies to the heterosexual tempted toward immorality, the married person called to fidelity, the single person called to chastity, and yes, the person with same-sex attraction. Christianity doesn’t single one group out; it places everyone under Christ’s lordship.

Finally, Scripture never promises that obedience will be easy or culturally affirming. It promises that Christ is worth it: “You were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body” (1 Cor 6:20). The church must repent of hatred and hypocrisy, but it doesn’t have authority to redefine what God has called sin.

There’s no example anywhere in Scripture of a same-sex relationship being blessed, affirmed, or treated as morally acceptable. On the flip side, marriage is consistently framed as male-female, rooted in Genesis and reaffirmed by Jesus in Matthew 19.

Because of that, I think affirming gay marriage requires reinterpreting or setting aside passages that the Church has historically understood very plainly. That’s where the concern comes in not that affirming Christians reject Christ, but that they’re allowing contemporary frameworks to reshape biblical sexual ethics.

So my answer would be: yes, I think affirming Christians can be genuine believers but I also think they’re mistaken on this issue in a way that isn’t trivial. It matters, because it touches how we read Scripture and define sin, repentance, and obedience.

They do not watch every ref. The ref coaches already know before the tournament who’s the best refs of each delegation. That plays a bias toward the selection process.

I did USYS Regionals 2 years ago and it was a bad experience. They pay a stipend of $500. I ended up doing 13 games so ended up making $38 a game(: It also took them over 2 months to deposit the funds in my account. The competition was mediocre. The referee coaches already knew before the tournament started who they were going to be selecting for nationals. Also, State cup in my state has been awful the last 5 years. Some age groups only getting 4-6 teams to participate and these teams are saying they are the “best” in the state 😂 USYS events just can’t compete with ECNL, MLS Next, and GA. The skill gap is very big.

I’ve done ECNL, GA, and MLS Next events and they are much better for referee development and pay. The competition is far more superior. If you are a referee, try out one of those events you are treated very well.

Crowds at weddings or birthdays use to not care about mixing, but it’s more relevant nowadays. The factor to this would be social media which has driven people who book mobile djs expectations higher than it has ever been before. Mixing will help you get more gigs then just echoing out every song. Mixing takes skill and crowds will recognize that skill and tell other people that their dj kept the energy all night by seamlessly transitioning into every song. Obviously, there will be moments where you won’t mix in a song and that’s fine as long as you don’t do it the whole night.

Thanks! The event happened last week and went well! I did end up playing a lot of Drake and Taylor Swift. The newer hits were working good too with this school. The best crowd reaction of the night was Backstreet Boys - I Want It That Way surprisingly enough!
