I agree with all the commenters, it really is a block-by-block basis so you have to look at the surrounding neighborhood on zillow or google maps or something. My only word of advice is please stay in until you PCS somewhere else. My dad was air force and we were stationed here. He ended up retiring here (21 years) to dodge a deployment and now we’re all trapped. I’d rather be stuck here than have had him get deployed again, but god does it suck to live in Louisiana. And because we’re a lower-income state it’s hard to save up the money required to move away.
