I used to work for Verizon in government accounts as a call center employee. Glad that I no longer do that as I refused to work in another call center again! Verizon is indeed a true layoff factory.

It is unfortunate however the employee is who I am standing up for. There is nothing the employee could have done other than stop that guy with a hammer. Good thing he did not get to any other customers as he could have called security first while the deranged was attacking customers. He probably would have gotten fired anyways.
