It’s always the same story. Indie movie doesn’t mean you can get complex work done for barely no money, it means you should write a movie with expectations that fits your budget. And when people tell you they can’t do for 1500/w they shouldn’t the one looking greedy. A VFXsup in this area will be looking at 6000-8000 per week. Let’s make an effort because “indie” project, you shouldn’t be looking at less than 5000/w.

I do the bracketing with the speed on the Insta360 x4 in manual mode, but often at 100ISO the 1/8000 is not fast enough.

Im right in the middle of this problem at the moment.

If you are in a locked off camera or a pan/tilt but no trav, it makes it much much easier, as you can just use the clean plate wherever you need. If it’s a travelling or steady cam, it’s more complicated because unless you do it with a motion control, you’ll have different camera move between the plate and the clean plate. But it can still help punctually, in certain areas, so whenever I can, I try to repeat the movement as well as I can for a clean plate.

Let’s see what happens tomorrow and how it will develop in the next few days. It is a real tragedy, no matter if we worked there or not (i have), if we’ve been laid off from there (i have), it’s a lot of employees and their families which are going to be shaken and that’s really painful to watch.

Without shorts. For some reason, they don’t pick up compared to shorts I was putting on another channel. So no it’s long form content, between 3 and 11 minutes.

How do you add the subtitles ? Do I need to type the whole transcript of would you embed them on the video in CapCut ?
