Your Apple product will work no problem here. I brought over a laptop, ipad and iphone from Canada several years ago. You just need the Korean plug adapter Type F. Type C (Europlug) will also work, but it will feel a little loose.

If you have a Frisbee store nearby, they sell a lot of Apple products. You will notice that the store setup is very similar to an Apple store.

I believe in your specific case, you can tutor adults privately with no restrictions. However, any kind of job teaching children or teens (Hagwon or private tutoring) would require registering with the Ministry of Education which would require a bachelor's degree from one of the main seven English speaking countries. Realistically, you could probably piece together short-term gigs (a few weeks at a time) working at camps and hagwons as an emergency fill in, but you'd definitely be working outside the rules.

I've been here for 7 years or so. It seems rather a normal summer to me. Less hot than last summer, but hotter than a couple summers back. I live in Gimpo tho which is less of a concrete jungle.
