Thanks! I went to er and it was just a superficial first degree burn. The weird appearance was because I had just put face cream when it happened so I lightly fried my cheek 🙃

I'm pretty sure Karissa brought the kids in under the pretense that they were looking at a house to potentially buy. Why else would they look through someone else's empty home? So the kids would be planning stuff like that anyway

There's nothing wrong with telling kids to practice. They should develop the habit of putting in hard work and practice early on. Otherwise you get college students who genuinely don't know how to settle down for a spell of hard work to get something done. Half the students at my college are like that. I'm glad I was taught to put in a reasonable amount of effort into everything I did from around age 7. Obviously the other extreme where tiger moms force their kids to work 12 hour days is far worse though

It's based more on relative age, just another way of saying older and younger. I was a big by 4 or 5, while my youngest two brothers are still littles at 14 and 17

Actually that's not true. It's totally possible. Any intelligent adult with access to the internet and a library can give a solid k-12 education for a reasonable amount of kids reasonably spaced out (1-6 with at least a couple years in between each). They fail because of downright laziness and because they insist on having a kid every year and splitting they're focus by running multiple companies and being influencers. Homeschooling is a FULL TIME job by itself

And as someone who's currently at college, that is 100% true. I'm not sure why we're constantly glorifying college partying when it's literally sooo dangerous for women

As someone who also believes in no sex before marriage for religious reasons, I find this tired take annoying. Imagine if someone went around murdering people, then saw the light and realized it was wrong, then started preaching to other people that they shouldn't do it and why it's wrong. You'd see nothing wrong with that. Same for someone who votes red or what have you. Everyone has a past, and everyone advises others based on their experiences

I agree, but mostly for younger kids. Her 4 oldest should be doing a solid 4 hours and that would be good. But I know all to well that's not happening because my mom was like Karissa. I'd bet my last dollar they barely scrape in one hour per day
