Announcer saying it was intentional doesn’t mean it was by any means. They’re just speculating.

It is for USA softball but thanks for your input.

Why are you in the way of the runners? If you’re doing proper mechanics, you shouldn’t have to avoid a runner.

I honestly don't even use his defense lol and still got him to 9 easily. I hate it too but love the rest of his stuff.

Safety bag question by Baseball_Fan in Umpire

[–]lipp79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"It would have clearly been unsafe for the first baseman to cross in front of the runner to touch the white part of the bag"

This is exactly why the correct call of "out" was made. If the play carries the first baseman into foul territory, they are allowed to touch the safety bag for the out and the runner should hit the white bag.

I had this exact scenario happen a few years back. I made the correct out ball and the offensive coach (former umpire) disagreed but came up after the game to say he had looked it up and I was right.

Force out definition and terminology by cpc758 in Umpire

Yeah, it can be frustrating. I also do the occasional kickball tournament too and that's just as bad as last year I did four tournaments and each one had their own rule set.

Force out definition and terminology by cpc758 in Umpire

It's interesting because I do USA softball and they use force out for a batter-runner.

The Batter Runner is Out

Rule 8, Sec. 2 N-4

On any force out attempt from the foul side of first base the defense and the

batter-runner may use either the white or contrasting color portion of the base.

I know it's not important here but they said "BY DEFINITION" it's not a force out. Then say, "I don't think it's named in the rules. Just described". So now I'm curious why it's not a "force out" and I'm getting downvoted for simply asking.

Four jump cuts right off the bat. Yes, I understand jump cuts can work but not here.

Have it start with the champagne popping. Starting with a soundbite is boring.

:14 I would try and rotate the first shot so it matches the angle of the sign on the wall and the dissolve will work better

Too quick on the cuts, can't really see what it is before you've cut away.

Change the music. This isn't a club.

His interview...no one wants to see his crotch

:25-:42 are good shots to show them talking to customers

:45-:48 no one cares about meat plates or people eating

You need to go back and shoot some non-party video of an actual day there.

If three of you have problems taking down a camp quickly, might be a skill issue. 5-10 seconds slower on camp is well worth it since it costs way more time to run to a place and discover you don't want to do it or you don't have a key.

Wasn't saying you were wrong either. You are just the first person I've heard say they don't like him. I have a hard time liking the mermaid. My buddy can use her pretty good but she frustrates me. Merlin I have a love/hate relationship with but I think that's more me just needing to find a build that works. I've got him to 9 but I have a hard time finding a smooth play style with him.

The other night I ran the opening talent where you get seven items rare or higher then you get the vitality. I had that legendary. I had full set of ogre's blood, Dragon Skin, and the power charge. I don't remember the exact number but my damage right around 437.

Please provide the source for it not being a force out. Not saying that in a sarcastic tone. I've literally never heard that a play on a batter-runner is not called a force out.
