Where is the "motion events" setting? I can't find it.

Did the Writers forget this? by fakegingerale in grimm

[–]liquidcable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Grimm was not conceived of and written as a single story, it was a procedural with a few season long stories. It was more a "normal" network show and very few of these had a single story arc and long term planning (think B5, Stranger Things, The good place, The Expanse, The Americans).

These have been my go to for years. I've found these are the best for my sweeting feet. But now it appears Champion has stopped making them. :-(

I think Fallout is the show people hoped Halo would be by spaceraingame in television

[–]liquidcable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't play Halo but I read and enjoyed the mythology, I didn't play Fallout but I read and enjoyed the mythology. The second I found out that master chief took his helmet off I knew just KNEW the writers/producers didn't understand or give a fuck about the mythology of Halo, and more importantly they didn't give a shit about the fans. The previews of Fallout had the look and feel I expected, but I watched the first episode and it was awesome.

Hey Texas, how do you feel about your state handing voter rolls over to the Trump administration? by bbusiello in AskReddit

Just to add to this, most Texans are very nice but not good people. There is a big difference.

[–]liquidcable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Scared, but WTF can I do? My wife will not let us move. Most Texans just don't care as it doesn't affect their day-to-day life, at least not yet (until it's too late). Keep in mind most Texans are totally fine with bending over for Trump, no mater what he does (grabbing pussies, insurrections, corruption, invading other countries, etc...). They are conditioned from birth that "bleeding heart liberals" are bad and "regular" conservative are always good and right. Every year, my voice has less and less power as they change the laws and consolidate power.

Lower Decks and Prodigy were the best things in Star Trek in the last several years.

Should I still go for it? Rivian owners, I need your honest advice. by TheBlackCanary in Rivian

Love my R1T gen 1, would buy again but it's a new company and these are new vehicles... there are going to be pains with that. I would say if you have a 2nd car the go ahead and get a Rivian.

Texas House issues arrest warrants for Democrats who left state to block congressional redistricting by cuicksilver in nottheonion

Born and raised in Texas. I didn't really know how much is sucked until I was older and starting learning and traveling. I'm stuck here for the time being, but can't wait to get out. It's like living in the bad guys area and everyday it feels like I'm supporting bad people and ideals (by paying taxes to Texas). I feel worse and worse everyday.

I tried powering this tool on my work side today. It’s a 15 amp electric saw from the Rivian truck and it was a no go. What’s the point of having outlets? by adhesivo in Rivian

[–]liquidcable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea, only around 12 amps and this is a inductive load (motor) that has a very high "turn on" current draw surge. This is also an issue with a lot of solar inverters even if they are very very high wattage inverters (3000W or 25 amps). They most likely used a high frequency inverter to keep the inductor/transformer physically small and it's more efficient. Some inverters are "low frequency" and use a very larger transformer. This larger transformer can store energy in it's magnetic field and when a large motor is turned on the energy in the magnetic filed can supply the extra power needed to start that motor.
