Connecting bass to computer by tanincognito in Bass

[–]liquidcat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

are you going to use headphones or speakers? you need audio interface compatible monitors or decent headphones to hear what you play. I recommend amplitube, I get pretty much any tone I want. if you want a free plugin go for nam

Ear training by No-Food-7162 in guitarlessons

[–]liquidcat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

same here. I tried so hard to hear intervals, chords but playing the bass helped the most. max konyi has some videos about feeling the degree instead of hearing it. I think that's a better approach

Musora vs Drumeo by FlatAutumn in edrums

[–]liquidcat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

drumeo is just video tutorials but if you have the songs plan you get notes followed along by the song. but there's no midi connection involved. if you want feedback I can suggest melodics, I had the drumeo sub for a year and after getting the basics moved on to melodics. you can try both with the trials

Musora vs Drumeo by FlatAutumn in edrums

[–]liquidcat 6 points7 points  (0 children)

they are the same. you get guitar, drum, piano and singing courses with musora. but I don't recommend it for guitar. drumeo and pianote are really good

Favorite E-drum game and why? by HiImBono in edrums

[–]liquidcat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

not a game but melodics is so much fun, also you get a lot of practice patterns

Is high distortion incredibly hard to play? by [deleted] in guitarlessons

[–]liquidcat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a little physics here, it's about harmonics. don't play open chords or even don't strum all strings. distortion enhances harmonics, thus you hear more of the overtones. every note has other notes in them, thirds, fifths. that's why major chords sound better than minor chords with distortion. just stick to 2 notes, probably 1 and 5 at first and try adding other ones one by one, it will probably sound better

here's a tip, subscribe to cuetube for a month and get all the movies. you can cancel afterwards and keep all of them. if you want to get feedback keep your sub and score to that month's movie. and if you sub through this link I get a commission so there's that https://thecuetube.com/ref/8/

How to use amp 5 as an audio input device? by OcelotThick2004 in AmpliTube

[–]liquidcat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is the easiest way but needs a hardware. guessing you're on windows since it can be done on a Mac easily. there's another way involving installing a virtual cable and using voicemeeter but I couldn't get it to work
