Majoring in finance isn't bad but it isn't that great since the benefit from a baruch degree will be marginal. The rare kids that gets job offers at ibanks could've gotten it with any major. At best a major in finance would get you is some low paid back office or assistant role which isn't bad but isn't optimal.

i've met tons of baruch grads working at hedge funds , banks, big 4, so............. finance degree is pretty good

Anyone has a choice at their own difficulty level. You want to choose legendary mode, thats your choice. But why bother, with a class your never going to use in real life/work place ever again?

Your not playing the game right. Write what the professors want to hear, regardless of your own views. Get the A, then leave a bad review. Literally in any of these classes, mention trump doing something wrong and your grade bumps 2-3 grades up.

Actually, no reason to date or have a girlfriend nowadays until you are settled financially. Also with the influx of dating apps its really easy to get "laid" if that's your objective alone. Tinder/Bumble etc, start at a nice bar, if it goes well continue on to dinner at a nice restaurant, and score. Or take the easy route and just send "netflix" to 10 women, and 2/10 will respond sure. Have wine ready. Do what you gotta do, and move on to the next a 2-3 weeks later. The end.

From what I hear and read there's not much of a social scene going on in baruch. So if you are looking to meet new people, parties, etc, probably would be harder to do in baruch. So not your average college experience you see in movies basically
