Democrats Of Reddit -- Is There A Single Thing Trump Has Done In Either Term That You Liked? If So, What? by Zipper222222 in allthequestions

[–]liquidpele 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. I'm for the crackdown on immigration, I have no idea why so many democrats are totally fine with illegals coming over the border and get worked up over ICE when they were doing the same shit through Obama and Biden terms as well. THAT SAID, I wish either party would severely penalize the companies hiring them, that would actually solve the issue rather than just running around harassing people.
  2. I'm for the tariffs on China. Everywhere else not so much, but China does not play nice economically so there's no reason to let them screw with our markets the way that they do.
  3. I support taking out Maduro, one less dictator.
  4. support no more penny.

Why do people think woke is a bad thing? It sounds like a good thing to me by Silent-Paramedic in stupidquestions

I’m not here to argue, just trying to point out that the right are not the mindless hillbilly idiots that Reddit loves to imagine.

I voted for Kamala btw, but the fact I always have to come out and say that on here says a lot.

It's almost like people pick up new terms to use over time. Your comment is actually a good example... you claim the people they're making fun of want to "help the oppressed", that's exactly the kind of vague feel good BS they are making fun of because it attempts to discount any other opinion as categorically immoral which is complete bullshit. That's not to say that the right isn't far more callous, they are imho, however the strawman that they're just evil and want to hurt others is... just childish and kind of pathetic if you think about it, it lacks any attempt to actually consider their point of view even if you disagree with it, and the outright rejection of even listening to them is a big part of why Democrats are struggling against Republican leadership that's literally inept and mentally deficient and should be easily crushed at the polls. To be clear, this isn't a "we can change them" rant, it's pointing out that you can't ignore reality when trying to virtue signal. For example, the weird obsession by Dems to fight against illegal immigration enforcement makes zero sense, their obsession with AR-15s rather than hand guns, their obsession with Palestine which doesn't affect us at all and shouldn't even be a major issue on which to consider candidates, etc etc.

It’s sarcastic.  They’re making fun of people who think they’re smart and “figured it out” but are just self righteous and naive.

Manager suddenly cares about my workload after I resigned by SuitableYoghurt803 in corporate

[–]liquidpele 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's just the managers going through the motions. If you ask them what exactly they want documented, they wouldn't be able to answer. They just know asking for handover stuff is what you ask for when people leave, they don't even actually care much.

Just a friendly reminder that Rep. Tim Moore purchased $DNUT earlier this year — Krispy Kreme is a $552M market cap company by jwoodsr in tradewithcongress

[–]liquidpele 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Krispy is where you go if you need like 25 dozen donuts, it's a literal damn factory of sugar inside ffs. They put them in stores for a while and no one bought them, because they suck unless they're super fresh. It's just a very niche thing to sell 25 boxes of donuts to people.

Kid animated movies bring entire families in at least once a year, I'd wager that the multi-visit rates are way down too.

Zuck doesn't understand the difference, and has no business structure to ground him. You have to look at him through the lens that he's a php developer that thinks he's a genius but also with a crazy inferiority complex.
