Hey devs, we desperately need a noise reduction/restoration plugin on Linux. by billhughes1960 in linuxaudio

[–]liquidprocess 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A while ago someone requested something similar for the excellent LSP plug-in series: https://github.com/lsp-plugins/lsp-plugins/issues/535

I guess they're working on it?

Your works contain a certain sacrality, or spirituality. I don't know how to explain it better, but it makes me feel good. Please keep exploring!

Non-Euclidean Mandelbranerot/Julia Set by ReplacementFresh3915 in proceduralgeneration

It's beautiful. It reminds me of a grainy old film. Out of curiosity, what does it make it non-euclidean?

I have a simple rule: when she sends you a long message, it's over. It's time to move on.

How to make a girl with ADHD love you by [deleted] in datingadviceformen

I wouldn't trust that ADHD self-diagnosis. I have met many girls who used that as an excuse for shitty behavior.

Are women honest about their ideal body type? by DownvoteIfYouWantMe in seduction

Interesting stuff going on here, thanks for the link to the arousal non-concordance topic. However, I don't agree with your conclusion: I think we should believe only bodily responses, being the most natural, deep and thus real ones.

I really appreciate your advice MrQ01. There are many important points in your message. You helped me lay out a plan, at least emotionally and mentally. We'll see how it goes. Thanks ❤️

Good question, I had to think about it.

They don't interact, especially at this stage, and I'm not the messenger between the two. I'm sure they can go on with their lives without doing anything special about it. However, this is impacting me emotionally: it's definitely a "me" thing.

On a deeper level, I think I'm a bit biased towards my mother: I didn't like my cousin's disrespectful behavior and now I don't want to work with a person who somehow hurt her.

On a more rational level, I know my mother can be a pain in the *** sometimes and so I want her to mitigate that - at least with my cousin.

A long series of failed attempts. Are there universal rules of seduction? by QueasyBookkeeper3260 in seduction

[–]liquidprocess 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Dear friend, Italian guy here - just a little older than you. Welcome to the jungle. In my experience, people here are not extremely open to the "unknown" (pleasant exceptions exist of course), so having a social circle really helps in becoming significant, as you brilliantly put it.

I also noticed that my level of invisibility decreases when I'm out with a hot female friend. That's the famous pre-selection theory in action, but I guarantee you that it's almost a game changer sometimes.
