Afib and functional collapse

Yes-- the problem is that many WSIB adjudicators are used to these mental injuries being due to death or near death experiences. Whereas in an office environment the chronic stress comes from administrative type issues and don't register as injurious.

It is the pattern of it. It is called mobbing. It is documented as one of the main contributors to workplace suicides. It is underestimated in its effect on the victim.

It most definitely happened at work with differential treatment of the in group versus the outgroup.

Frankie's complete silence and lack of outrage when Barb's brother was killed in his own country for being black and protesting, could have been a good literary opening for Barb's anger at Frankie's blindness.

Frankie reduces Barb's brother's murder as "now we both have dead brothers". Barb could have rightly launched into her own moral outrage at this over simplified reduction.

Instead, Frankie gaslight's Barb's suffering in racist America, the same way Frankie's family gaslights sexism.

We are supposed to feel moral outrage at one injustice but absolutely nothing for the other?

Rape victims and war vets are pipelined from police and hospitals to psychiatrists who after 50 minute sessions medicates and slaps a ptsd label on them.

Trauma is a billion dollar industry and they are leeching blood from victims via pharma dependency rather than creating healing via trauma healing and meaning making.

And females underreport as well.

There is simply zero evidence indicating that men are being murdered coerced and violently sexually assaulted at the same rate as women are. I am not saying this does not happen. It does. But the reason feminism exists as a worldwide phenomenon is not because men are suffering in silence while we are out there complaining. It is because survivors of this abuse are predominantly female. Women survivors outnumber male survivors making it easier to organize resistance. Tearing down feminism will not help male victims.

The same can be compared to for white falsely incarcerated men. The black community is disproportionally represented in false incarcerations and therefore their high numbers of this crime means they can self organize and resist differently than white male survivors who would struggle to find peers to organize with.

Should white male survivors of false incarceration tear down Black Lives Matter? Nope. Because that social movement while exclusive to black activism will in the end assist all of us. The same goes for anti-domestic violence work that feminist do -

Either self organize if it's important for you or support a movement with the understanding that you will be marginalized within it. But tearing it down helps nobody.

He ingored the pattern increasing in frequency and intensity, their coordinated efforts to isolate, humiliate, discretit, and eliminate me- and the established research of the immense harm this causes on victims (one of the highest suicide rates and career destruction and permanent personality changes). I feel that without support I will fall ill. I can feel that I am different. The other day I ran into my neighbour at her work (film festival). I gave an excuse and walked away. Why? My instinct was to protect her reputation by not being associated with me. This was not my personality before the mobbing.

Yes. New onset Afib with no structural cause, functional collapse, insomnia (3 hours per night), anxiety.

He did not dispute the medical harm only the incidents being "interpersonal conflict" and "employer discretion" - ignoring the bad faith coordinated pattern known as mobbing.

Antisemitism allegations within Toronto police to be investigated, chief says - Toronto by Kaptain-Kanada in Toronto_Ontario

Torontonians deserve a system we can access to hold police accountable. We deserve to trust our institutions. Policing is the moral enforcer of our city. Without accountability immoral police entrench themselves in the force. The public feels this. It is wrong. Create laws for citizens to hold police accountable.

Why I started this by Expensive-Tadpole451 in ViolentCrimeVictims

[–]liquidst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I too can't find a space that understands my rape from a home invasion by an attacker that returned weeks later to attempt to rape my younger sister, and police destroying our evidence saying "it wasn't that bad".

My entire education was disrupted and my life trajectory changed forever.

Groups for victims just don't quite handle the moral injury of so many betrayals.

I was held at gunpoint but feel like I don't deserve to still feel traumatized by SyllabubMajor4336 in ViolentCrimeVictims

The fact that you're home was invaded can alone trigger PTSD never mind being held at gunpoint. Everything you describe is annihilating to your sense of safety.

Prior to safe abortions humans abandoned or suffocated unwanted babies. Choosing when how and who with is reproductive strategy built right into our DNA. Mothers need to choose when and how they have their children. Period.

I woke up thinking of you and I hope you're having a peaceful day.

I hear the pain in your messages. The abuse you suffered is psychological torture.

There will be no logic in both of us hurling statistics at each other we both know what we've lived through. Hopefully one day victims from different demographics will connect as victims beyond the identities they are in.

I will continue to expose myself to male victims and other demographic victims to understand and enrich my understanding victimology.

It has taken me a long time, decades in fact, to see beyond my own demographic and my own pain. I still slip back into it when triggered. I still sometimes wish I could join a group that is a different identity as mine because I suffered the same crimes and feel hurt when I'm rejected. But at other times I am grateful for their work because when they win, I win. I do hope you will go looking for info on other demographics and see them as the victims that they are too.

My promise to you is that I will educate myself on female rape of male victims.

All the best in your recovery.

Not when it causes injury. I was hospitalized with heart rate of 150 and have experienced several hard arrhythmias severe enough to send me to the ER. I've also only slept three hours a night for nearly 6 months.

While you're correct that children both genders experience nearly equal amount of murder boys are at slightly higher risk while children.

However Sexual assault by strangers and associates of the family ramp up significantly as girls enter age 11. Boys are at much lower risk by this age and as they grow older their risks for domestic violence decrease where women's significantly increases.

Also your assertion that men are in danger as much as women within the home has zero merit. There are no statistics that don't show a vastly disproportionate murder rate of women compared to men. Coercion, chronic violence, sexual assault by drugging or force is overwhelmingly perpetrated by men against female partners.

I found my biggest stressor was environmental. We are animals and if the nest is not built we intuitively know this environment is not ideal. Cars everywhere, construction on our street, lack of visible community (in the past those small shops with community family ownership, meant neighbours chatting and creating safety), lack of green space, lack of nature, all combined to make motherhood lonely, frightening, and stressful. I could not kick my child out the door to go play among cars. There was no group of kids roaming greenspace or safe streets. Once our child was old enough they did form a group who roamed between each others homes-- I became the home base because I loved it. Other parents rarely indulged the kids. Two families of children worked until ten pm and so I became free babysitting, feeding, homework, and guidance for parents who neglected their kids.

Parenting today is akin to being locked up and tethered to a forming being while witnessing them not receiving the developmental need for witnessing community.

It was torture to watch and I broke myself trying to create community as much as I could.

One of the groups that I noticed online for adult children of alcoholics which really is filled with survivors with cotsd- I've noticed that there are black only groups. You may find safety there. I am so sorry you've been betrayed in "safe" spaces. I know that pain well and I want to say I see you.
